HORSEBACK ARCHERY
11/12 July 2009
FALCONRY FESTIVAL, Nr THEALE, Berks
ß

Some of the superb shots taken at Englefield of our riders, Mike, Tim, Hayley & Sally.
A BIG THANKYOU to Guy, Andy &Terry for taking good photos, Nick Fox of the Falconry Festival for inviting us -just LOOK at the venue! ( Behind Yvonne doing her presentation despite somewhat basic PA gear)

AND others without whom the event would not have been so successful, some of whom are seen in the background, namely our
SUPPORT TEAM & STEWARDS: David, Patrick, Yvonne, Caroline, Hilary, Guy, Yas and Dom.
MARK STRETTON also gave a fine demonstration of hunting with the longbow in medieval times which was very popular, particularly the bit where he sliced the top off a watermelon with a hunting broadhead!

Higher Queen Dart invitation shoot

Left Patrick's Popinjay, centre the target moves, not the horse! Right: rats ona sack lit up for two seconds...

We were honoured to be invited to take part in the
SECOND WORLD TRADITIONAL ARCHERY FESTIVAL, S KOREA October 2008
